The problem
Cloudflare sought to enhance their onboarding process by creating engaging and concise training modules for new joiners. The challenge was to develop a 5-minute instructional module using Rise 360 that effectively conveyed essential information to new employees.

All the content was dispatched into Cloudflare's only library and knowledge based open source, the challenge was to gather, find the right information to deliver the short duration content nailing the learning goals and simplifying the content for new joiners.
The solution
I led the design and development of a targeted onboarding module using Rise 360, tailored specifically for Cloudflare's new joiners. This module aimed to deliver key information efficiently and engagingly within a brief timeframe, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
My process

Needs Analysis and Content Planning:
Conducted a thorough needs analysis to identify critical onboarding topics and learning objectives. Planned the content flow to maximize engagement and retention within a short duration.

Storyboarding and Action Plan:
Developed a storyboard outlining the module's structure, including interactive elements and assessments. Created an action plan with specific milestones for content development and review.

Rise 360 Development:
Leveraged Rise 360's interactive features to design engaging content, incorporating multimedia elements, quizzes, and scenario-based learning to enhance learner interaction and understanding.

Text-based storyboard
To create the learning objectives I used the Bloom's taxonomy and knowledge base from Cloudlfare. Then from word I went to Rise to rapid prototype and iterate.
Visual Mockups
Visual mockups and storyboards were instrumental in illustrating the module's design and flow. These included layout designs, interactive elements, and quiz formats to ensure alignment with Cloudflare's branding and instructional goals.
